Abstract

This scientific article covers the theoretical foundations of projection methods in technical drawings, their types, the possibilities of accurately depicting spatial forms on a plane, and their place in the system of engineering graphics. Scientific information is provided about parallel, central, axonometric, and orthogonal types of projection, and their importance in the science of drawing in forming a spatial imagination for the student, correctly depicting structures, and preparing technical documents based on standards is explained. The causes of errors in projections and ways to eliminate them are also analyzed.
