TYPES OF ASSIGNMENTS DEVELOPING INDEPENDENT CREATIVE ACTIVITY IN PAINTING AND THEIR PEDAGOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract

This article analyzes the system of tasks that serve the development of students’ independent creative activity in the process of painting education, their forms, content characteristics, and pedagogical significance. Independent creative tasks are considered as an important factor in mastering painting technologies, deepening artistic skills, developing visual thinking, and forming an individual creative approach. The article scientifically and theoretically substantiates the theoretical and practical principles of painting, modern innovative methods, and mechanisms for improving the educational process based on a competency-based approach. The classification of types of independent assignments, their influence on the student’s personality, and their role in increasing creative motivation are also extensively analyzed.
