THE ESSENCE OF THE SUBJECT OF GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION IN DRAWING LESSONS

Abstract

This article provides a broad scientific analysis of the content, significance, historical formation of the science of the basics of graphic representation, its connection with engineering, architecture, design and modern digital technologies. The principles of descriptive geometry, which form the theoretical foundation of graphic representation, the laws of projection representation, its role in the development of spatial thinking, and its importance in integration with CAD systems are also covered. In addition, the role of the science in the educational process, its teaching methodology, and its specific features in the formation of a graphic culture in accordance with international standards are analyzed from a scientific point of view.
