Abstract

Interpolation is an important technique in numerical analysis used to estimate unknown values of a function based on known data points. This paper discusses two well-known interpolation methods: the Lagrange interpolation method and the Newton interpolation method. These techniques construct a polynomial that passes through given points and can be used to estimate intermediate values. Interpolation is widely applied in scientific computing, engineering, economics, and data analysis.
