Abstract

The education and upbringing of children with developmental disabilities is one of the most important issues in modern pedagogy. Special pedagogy plays a crucial role in creating favorable conditions for the intellectual, social, and emotional development of such children. This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical significance of special pedagogy in the educational process of children with developmental disorders. The research is based on the IMRAD structure and analyzes international, CIS, and Uzbek scientific literature on the subject. The study highlights the pedagogical mechanisms and methodological approaches used in special education systems. The results show that the application of specialized pedagogical methods and inclusive educational practices significantly contributes to the successful socialization and cognitive development of children with developmental disabilities.
