Abstract

This article analyzes the psychological and biological foundations of fear of the dark in children, the role of the social environment, in particular parents and educators, in the formation of this fear, as well as the psychological problems that arise as a result of incorrect educational approaches. At the same time, methods and pedagogical recommendations for overcoming this fear are provided.
