Abstract

This article is devoted to the problem of pedagogical neglect of children in the family, which is the most important unit of society. The article analyzes the reasons why parents satisfy only the physical needs of the child and neglect his spiritual, intellectual and psychological development, as well as the negative consequences of this situation. The educational decline, deviant behavior and difficulties in social adaptation resulting from pedagogical neglect are studied, and scientifically based conclusions and proposals are given to eliminate the problem.
