This article examines the pedagogical potential, objectives, and practical significance of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into foreign language instruction. The study explores the role of AI-driven adaptive learning systems, natural language processing tools, automated assessment mechanisms, and interactive digital platforms in the development of foreign language competencies. Particular attention is given to the advantages of artificial intelligence, including the personalization of learning processes, the provision of immediate feedback, increased learner motivation, and overall enhancement of educational effectiveness. At the same time, the paper addresses several challenges associated with AI implementation, such as issues of academic integrity, the digital divide, technological dependency, and data security concerns.
