Abstract

The article «Relationship between Jami’s moral ideas and previous ethical concepts» is devoted to the prerequisites for the ethical views of Abdurahman Jami. The article attempts to consider pre-Islamic, ancient, mystical and calamistic sources that influenced the formation of Jami’s ethical views. It is indicated that the ethical ideas of Plato, Aristotle, Tajik pre-Islamic religions and the concepts of Mithraism, the socio-political ideas of Sufism, Kalam and Naqshbandism influenced the formation of Jami’s ethical views, and Jami was able to synthesize them in his works, which are of great importance for the education of the younger generation.
