Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical possibilities of developing an active civic position in students. Civic position is analyzed as an essential concept reflecting a person’s conscious attitude toward society and their understanding of rights and responsibilities. The significance of interactive methods, problem-based learning, and the project method in shaping civic consciousness is highlighted. Special attention is given to the harmony between national values and modern pedagogical approaches. The role and responsibility of higher educational institutions in the formation of students’ civic position is substantiated.
