Abstract

This article examines the importance of time management for university students in academic writing classes. It highlights how effective time management contributes to improved academic performance, higher productivity, reduced stress, and the successful completion of writing assignments. The study discusses various strategies for managing time, including setting realistic goals, creating schedules, prioritizing tasks, using digital planning tools, and applying techniques such as the Pomodoro Technique. The article also explores the negative consequences of poor time management, such as procrastination, declining academic results, and increased stress levels. Furthermore, it emphasizes the role of instructors in supporting students through guidance and time management practices. The author concludes that mastering time management skills is essential not only for success in academic writing classes but also for students’ future careers.
