Abstract

Chemical peeling is a widely used dermatologic and cosmetological procedure aimed at improving skin texture, reducing hyperpigmentation, managing acne, and achieving overall rejuvenation. When performed correctly, it is safe and effective, but errors in patient selection, technique, and aftercare can lead to complications that compromise outcomes and patient satisfaction. Despite the popularity of chemical peels in clinical and aesthetic practice, many practitioners continue to make preventable mistakes that highlight the importance of proper training and adherence to evidence-based protocols.
