Abstract

This article analyzed the role and effectiveness of educational YouTube channels in developing students’ speaking skills in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. The study revealed that in recent years, the YouTube platform had served as an important educational tool, providing opportunities to learn authentic speech patterns, natural pronunciation, and communication culture. Regular use of YouTube videos had positively affected learners’ pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency. Moreover, YouTube-based learning had increased students’ motivation, encouraged independent learning, and strengthened the communicative approach. The article also provided recommendations for integrating modern digital tools into English language classes.
