Abstract

This article presents a study on the kinetics of phase transition processes occurring during the synthesis of defoliants using waste products from the soda industry. The work explores the chemical and physical transformations that take place as a result of thermal treatment, precipitation, and crystallization reactions involving carbonate and hydroxide compounds present in the industrial by-products. Through detailed kinetic modeling and experimental validation, the influence of parameters such as temperature, pH, and reaction time on the rate and mechanism of phase changes was established. The study demonstrates that optimizing phase transition kinetics plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and selectivity of defoliant synthesis, thereby offering an environmentally sustainable approach to utilizing soda production waste. The findings contribute to the development of cost-effective agrochemical production methods while promoting industrial waste valorization
